Joni was in town to celebrate friends' birthdays. Her crew was dressed up as Street Fighters and Joni was Chun-Li. That night she was roaming around Hakassan and saw someone dressed up as Ryu. The Tree Hugger Trans go on a big annual backpacking/camping. First year was Canada, second year was Alaska, and 2020 we made our journey to Yellowstone National Park. The first night out from civilization was at Heart Lake. He got down and pretended to tie her shoelaces and surprised her with a ring instead, asking her to make him the luckiest man in the world; she said yes.

As much as we were excited to have a big wedding in September as originally planned, we are happy to announce we will be having a small and intimate elopement with 30 of our closest friends and family. Thank you for being part of our story.
