What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Guests should plan to arrive around 4:15pm to be seated before the ceremony. Parking is free and readily available at the venue when you arrive.

What should I wear?

Answer

Late June in Ocean City is usually hot and sunny, with temperatures in the 80s. Dress for the wedding is summer smart casual — please look at this slideshow if you'd like to see some examples: https://bit.ly/3KL3wfg. Nice shorts are OK!

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors. The reception will be held indoors. In the case of rain, all events will be held indoors.

Can I bring additional guests?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate the number of guests listed on your invitation.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

If you are vegetarian, vegan, or have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please reach out to us directly and we will coordinate with the venue to ensure you have a safe, delicious dinner!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes. We will be serving house liquor, wine, and beer. The open bar will be available for the entire celebration, except during dinner and during the last hour of the reception.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

Please no photos or videos during the ceremony. We have hired a photographer for this purpose. However, please feel free to take as many photos as you'd like at the reception and tag them #McHeckman!

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Our registry is set up for any gift to be shipped directly to our home. Should you wish to bring any gift to our wedding, there will be a gift area for your convenience!

May I take a centerpiece/flowers home as a souvenir?

Answer

Please feel free to take any flowers or decorations that you would like at the conclusion of the evening.
