Our Wedding at 4200’

Without knowing, Andrew and I were taking the same class in Fall of 2018. We were just 30 minutes apart from each other every Tuesday and Thursday for 5 months. Little did I know, the man that I met during an extra credit assignment at the end of the semester would turn into the man that I spend the rest of my life with. Once we started talking, there was no going back. We were like glue. Even ask Kyler, Drew's roommate at the time, he was probably sick of seeing me around so often. One thing led to the next, and now you are viewing this website for our wedding this July. We are so excited to celebrate this day with every single one of you!

I arrived home from work one day and sat at our kitchen table at Appalachian State, but noticed something was off. I started looking around the table and saw something there that was not there that morning. Sitting right in front of me in the middle of the table was a small black box with my engagement ring inside. Everyone who knows me knows what I did next, I took it out and put it on my finger. Then came a few snapshots and shrieks of joy. After a few more gazes at the ring, I put it back and sent a text message to Drew to let him know. Even with me knowing about the ring, he still kept the element of surprise by planning the proposal. We arrived at Linville Falls with our friends Aaron and Lauren to take graduation photos with Lauren - or so I thought. We swapped to take photos of Drew and myself in front of the waterfall. When I turned around to face the camera, Drew was down on one knee. We were now engaged! Drew had one more surprise up his sleeve. We then arrived at Chetola Resorts to then find my second surprise, all of our families were there to celebrate with us. It was one of the most beautiful days that I have experienced in this lifetime. We cannot wait to celebrate another beautiful day, our marriage, exactly two years later.
