It all began in 2013 at the best university on the planet (Virginia Tech) located in the most gorgeous town nestled between the Blue Ridge & Allegheny mountains (Blacksburg). Nabeela & Phil were both members of the organization SHH (Students Helping Honduras), through which they traveled to Honduras to help build schools for impoverished children. Through common experiences & a shared group of friends, the pair began to spend time together & became drawn to each other, most notably through Twitter, where tweets were liked, replied to, & retweeted constantly between the two. Graduation was bittersweet with the start of a long distance relationship. Phil spent 3 years living & working in Richmond, VA while Nabeela spent the same years living & working in Northern VA (& moving to Washington, D.C. in 2015). Finally, in 2017 Phil moved to Northern VA when he received an opportunity to take on a new role at his company’s branch in Vienna. At last, Philbert & Nabs were truly reunited. Since then, the pair have been living their best lives together in Washington, D.C., exploring their city, traveling to new cities, binge-watching shows, watching ArsenalVTJetsLakers games, ordering UberEats, getting engaged (7.25.19!), & being each other’s best friends. They still occasionally tweet at other.
