6 weeks after meeting each other on June 26, 2019, we would spend 4,218 miles apart for the first 2 years of our relationship - Marlee in Chicago and Phil in France. Although tough at times (a lot of the time) the love, laughter, and trust we share in one another is unmatched. In August 2021, we took our love story to France where we would spend the next 2 hockey seasons together. We filled our life with unforgettable memories in the Loire Valley of Tours, the Normandy region of Caen, as well as, the city of love, Paris! It was on November 1, 2022 at the historic island of Mont Saint Michel that Phil proposed.
