A Baraat is the groom's entrance to the wedding. Historically, weddings would take place in the bride's village and the groom's side would arrive in a parade-like fashion as a group. For our wedding, Phil will be entering the venue similarly, surrounded by family, friends, music, and dancing. We encourage everyone to take part and enjoy the celebration!
3:30 pm - 4:45 pm
We will have a fusion wedding, mixing the best of Hindu traditions alongside Western ones. We will start with will be a Hindu ceremony is steeped in tradition and rituals that date back to 3000 BC. The various steps will be described as the priest recites prayers to bless the couple's union. We will end the ceremony with an exchange of vows to seal the deal!
