I met Jhon while serving as a missionary in Ecuador. For many months, we got to know each other as friends, spending increasing amounts of time together, and avoiding admitting how much we liked each other, even though all of our friends knew it. He finally asked me to be his girlfriend on December 10, 2018, and four years layer, on Christmas Day 2021, he asked me to marry him. Most of our relationship has been long distance (I left Ecuador after four months of dating), but learning how to make it work has made us stronger and more in love. Jhon finally arrived to the USA in May, and it has been an exciting time learning how to really join our lives together. We are so excited to celebrate the joining of our lives with you!
