What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress code is semi-formal attire. No jeans, loud colors, or white please! Most of the event will be on grass, so ladies maybe rethink your stilettos and opt for block heels instead!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you rsvp. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of immediate family. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The entire wedding will take place outdoors on the front and back lawn of the property. The reception will take place in an outdoor covered tent, and our ceremony will be lakeside!

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

Trust us... you will definitely be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate your regrets on our RSVP tab so we can plan accordingly.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". With this being said, we are having an "unplugged ceremony", meaning no phones or cameras. We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos when we receive them! After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you would like.

Please let us know if you're coming by August 16th, 2024.

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Answer

Yes, we do! Please use #ForBetterOrWelch when posting any pictures on social media so we can see them too!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, the drinks are on us and the hangover is on you! Get ready to party... Texas style!

What happens if I don't rsvp in time?

Answer

If we do not get an RSVP back by the date which we have provided, it will be marked as a "No". We will miss you celebrating with us, however, we have to plan for total guest counts in a timely manner prior to our big day. We hope that you understand!

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Transportation will be provided to and from the hotel we've created a room block at. Ubers do not pick up from our wedding venue, as well as the roads are extremely windy. Therefore, it is highly encouraged to take the transportation we have provided for our special day! 5pm- Shuttles will depart from SpringHill Suites to the wedding venue. 11pm- Shuttles will depart from the wedding venue back to SpringHill Suites.

What will the weather be?

Answer

Texas is very unpredictable! However, please come prepared for temperatures ranging from a high of 95 degrees and a possibly a low of 75 degrees.
