Itinerary - Shell & Adrian’s Bali Wedding Hello everyone! Our big day is approaching, and we can't wait to celebrate with you in beautiful Bali. As some of you may be new to Bali and Southeast Asia, we wanted to provide you with an itinerary and some recommendations. Locations: Seminyak – A popular area in Bali known for its excellent restaurants, vibrant shopping, and lively nightlife. If you prefer a more serene and less crowded home base, consider staying in Ubud, which we'll talk about later. Ubud: Picture a tranquil haven with yoga retreats, stunning temples, lush rice paddy fields, and jungles. Ubud offers a more traditional Balinese experience away from touristy spots. Don't miss the chance to visit the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, whether you're staying in Ubud or not. Coffee enthusiasts will be delighted by Bali's unique and sought-after coffee; we recommend going on a coffee tour and bringing back a few bags. Wedding Venue: Bali Hilton Resort – Our wedding will take place at the Bali Hilton Resort on Jan 11th – Jan 13th, after which we'll return to Seminyak. Seminyak is about 30-40 mins north of the Hilton. You can choose to make Seminyak your home base or stay a few nights at the Hilton before heading to Seminyak. Address: Jl. Raya Nusa Dua Selatan, Benoa, Kec. Kuta Sel., Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia Dates We will be at the Hilton: Jan 11th – Jan 13th. Prices: Standard rooms start at $150/night. Cuisine: Bali boasts a unique cuisine with influences from Chinese, Indian, and Hindu cultures. Both Seminyak and Ubud offer a wide array of restaurants. If you prefer more westernized food options, Seminyak would be the ideal choice, as you can find almost any type of cuisine there. Accommodations: Bali offers affordable accommodations compared to many other destinations. Airbnb and vacation rentals are abundant and reasonably priced, with picturesque villas, apartments, and houses available for around $100/night. While chain hotels like Marriott are an option, you'll find more value for your money in other types of lodgings. Events Schedule: We are planning to arrive in Bali on Jan 8th (Monday), but feel free to join us a day or two later. Rehearsal Dinner Jan 10th- will take place at 7 pm. Everyone is invited. Please feel free to come earlier (around 4 pm) to enjoy some beverages as well as the amenities including basketball, karaoke, billiard table, ping pong table, and swimming. Wedding Jan 12th– The wedding ceremony will take place at the Bali Hilton in the chapel. Please arrive by 5:00pm. Reception – After the ceremony, join us in the common area outside the chapel for a delightful buffet-style reception with food and drinks provided. Jan 13th – This day is free for you to explore and enjoy. We're planning a day party at Savaya for those interested. If crowds aren't your thing, feel free to go snorkeling, take a tour, ride ATVs, or simply relax at the beaches. SE Asia: Since you'll already be in the region, we recommend exploring other parts of Southeast Asia. Countries like Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia are relatively close by, and visiting these places will add more cherished memories to your trip. We can't wait to celebrate with all of you in Bali and make unforgettable memories together!
