Boldt Castle is a staple of the Thousand Islands! Take a ferry over to Hart Island directly from Alex Bay, or visit during one of Uncle Sam's Boat Tours. You can also take a tour of the yacht house and learn more history about this prominent family. This is where Nick asked Sarah to be his girlfriend!
Although you'll be eating, drinking and dancing the night away here on Saturday, visit the Museum during regular hours to see the beautiful collection of old wooden boats, George Boldt's La Dutchesse, and learn more about the history of the River!
Take a sightseeings cruise through the Thousand Islands and learn all of the stories about the beautiful Mansions on Millionaire's Row, the secrets kept by some islands and enjoy being on the water! It cruises through both American and Canadian waters, no passport needed! We highly suggest taking a boat tour!
This is another sightseeing cruise company that's popular! This tour company offers sightseeing, dinner and booze cruises.
This place has the best pizza and beer in Clayton! Wood Boat Brewery is right across from the venue and has a menu full of pizza, sandwiches and pub food. We highly suggest getting a Channel Marker IPA!
This is a great lunch/dinner spot on the waterfront. Located right in Clayton, its walking distance from the hotels and Air BnB's. Nicks favorite picture is hanging on one of the walls, see if you can spot it! (Hint: look for the muskie!)
Best breakfast spot in Clayton! It gets pretty busy but we always think its worth the wait. I always get blueberry pancakes and Nick likes the muskie meal. Coffee is always important in the morning, but don't steal the cup!
Looking for a small town brewery with good beer? Take the quick trip down the road to the Cape and visit this brewery! This little brewery has a hometown feel, but we might be impartial because Cape Vincent is our favorite place along the River (& where Nick's family has their home!)
To the locals coming from Syracuse, this probably sounds familiar- its the same restaurant that's in Armory Square! From burgers to poutine to pirogies, this is a great spot to eat indoor or outdoors. We usually like sitting at the outside bar drinking a craft beer, especially if there's a baseball or football game on TV.
We stop here on the way back to camp from Clayton. Try a tasting of vodka, bourbon or whiskey and then grab a drink and sit outside to watch the ships go down the river!
