JFK, Jet Blue direct flights to Martha's Vineyard Airport

LGA has multiple airlines that fly to MV but no direct flights (most stop in Boston)If

If coming from New York, LGA is the closest airport with the most flights to the Vineyard, however, most flights are not direct and stop in Boston. JFK does has usually 1-2 direct flights a day on Jet Blue.

If you decide to take Amtrak, we suggest you take it to Providence and then take a quick taxi ride to the Rhode Island Fast Ferry at Quonsett Point. You can also take it to New Bed Ford, and take the Sea Streak ferry from there.

The Steamship authority - Woodshole to Marha’s Vineyard

The steamship authority provides year round transportation for cars, trucks and ppl to and from MV. If you are taking a car we highly suggest booking round trip far in advance, as spots fill up quickly. The easiest way to book car and walk on tickets is on their website listed above.

Cape Air

With over 1000 regional flights daily Cape Air is the Vineyards favorite local airline. Avoid traffic by flying out of Providence, Boston, Or New Bedford to the Cape or The Vineyard. If you fly into any of these points you can catch one of the ferries that depart from each location to MV.

Vineyard Fast Ferry

1347 Rogers William Way, North Kingston, RI. It’s suggested to book flights in advance although last minute travel can be accommodated. If you don’t feel like renting a car or flying, you can also take Amtrak to Providence, New London, or Boston and take the ferry from there. You may also take the Peter Pan or Greyhound bus from NYC to Falmouth / woods holes

If you decide to drive, parking is provided at all locations. Since the only ferry you can bring your car across on is the woods hole steamship Authority.

Bus

The Peter Pan Bus from the port Authority or the China town Bus will take you directly to woods hole or Falmouth where you can then walk on the ferry. This is definitely the most affordable way to get to the island

This hotel is closest to the the location of both the Friday night rehearsal dinner and the Saturday Wedding. It is the only hotel where we have blocked off rooms and will most likely be a main transportation pick up spot.

Lamberts Cove

While we have not blocked off rooms here, expect off season pricing. This inn is one of the nicest on island -beautiful, child-free and located just down the road from where the wedding ceremony and reception will be held.

Summer Camp Oaks B

This will be one of the pick up points for getting to the rehearsal dinner on Friday and Wedding on Saturday, as it is in a separate town from both Venus. Oaks Bluff is also located on the water and has a more lively going out scene.
