If flying into SRQ, the Longboat Key Club is a 20-30 minute drive depending on traffic. We recommend Uber or Lyft for easy transportation.
The venue offers complimentary on-property shuttles (available on demand) to take guests to and from each side of the resort. We will also have trolleys available to all guests on Saturday, with one picking up from a designated hotel in downtown Sarasota (hotel TBD) to take guests onto Longboat, and the others picking up at the resort. For those staying in downtown Sarasota, select hotels offer ground transportation to and from SRQ. Recommend contacting your hotel prior to arrival to verify transportation information.
Included in the resort fee is access to resort and private club facilities including pool and beach facilities, access to bicycles, tennis and pickleball instruction, pickleball reservations, golf instruction, golf courses, golf driving range, fitness classes, and spa. All events will take place outdoors.
Our dress code is Beach Cocktail Attire. Ladies: Think light, bright-colored semi-formal dresses, like a maxi or midi, jumpsuits/dressy separates! For footwear, while we will not be on the beach, all events are outdoors with some areas that are sandy/gravel while walking to and from the venue. Recommend a chunky heel or sandal over a stiletto. Gentlemen: Think linen, long-sleeve button downs and blazers/sports coats. Ties are optional. No shorts or sandals please!
We politely request no children attend the ceremony and reception, however, children are more than welcome to join on your trip and stay at the resort. Longboat Key Club offers a variety of family friendly activities and the pool and beach are open to guests of all ages. The hotel does not offer childcare services directly, but the concierge can recommend an outside vendor for you if needed.
