Peter and Makenzie, both born and raised in Kona town, had a lot of mutual friends but never seemed to be in the same place at the same time. It was only after his sister Aysha and a couple of those mutual friends put a little bug in Peter’s ear and asked “what about Kenz?”. After very little convincing, they both agreed to go to a Soja concert(a favorite for both) with a small group of friends. The night was literal music to their ears, and it was clear it was it was going to be “you and me” for the “rest of my life”. Makenzie later saw Peter emerge from the water at her favorite surf spot, Pine Trees with a broken board in hand and said “He surfs too!? This man is going to be mine” The rest is history and now they’re ready to enter their newest journey as husband and wife. #You&MeEbaniz2023
