We can't wait to party with you!

We are excited to say that our reception will go on as planned July 17, 2021! We can't wait to celebrate with you all. Please see the COVID FAQs page for more information on specific requirements for attending. COVID regulations are rapidly changing and we will do our best to inform you on the most recent requirements.

We have made the difficult choice to postpone our wedding celebration until July 17, 2021. We are still getting married on June 20, 2020 with our immediate family present. We hope that you will still come celebrate with us 7/17/21! Neither of us could have imagined that we would encounter a pandemic during our wedding, but have been working to make the most of this time. We have been incredibly lucky that our vendors have all been phenomenal in helping us transition to our new reception date. We thank God that our vendors all had this day available and that they have been so understanding. All of the details for the new reception date will match the original date. The reception will still take place at Emerson Park Pavilion in Auburn, NY at 5:00 PM. Rooms will still be blocked off at the Holiday Inn in Auburn, NY for the new date. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We are so thankful and blessed to have you in our lives and look forward to our new date when we can all celebrate!

Peter and Giorgi met unexpectedly through mutual friends after they both were dragged to spend an evening at Destiny USA. Neither of them initially wanted to be there. The group decided to first get food at T.G.I Friday's where Peter added Giorgi on SnapChat. They proceeded to go to Dave & Buster's where Giorgi initially beat Peter at the basketball arcade game. Peter, not one to let a lady win, went on to prove that Giorgi's basketball skills were, in fact, subpar. They continued to keep in touch, and Peter asked Giorgi to get together again. Giorgi agreed to go on a date with Peter, and he took her to a group Ichiban date with a few of his friends. After that day, they were basically inseparable. Giorgi loved Peter's compassionate, thoughtful personality, and Peter loved that Giorgi had a go-with-the-flow attitude despite the ridiculousness of his friends.

Peter asked Giorgi to marry him in front of their families and friends. Peter planned to trick Giorgi into going to a joint-family dinner at his parents' house in July 2018. What she thought was going to be just a normal dinner between two families turned into one of the best days of her life. When she arrived Peter instructed her to close her eyes, and he led her into the family room. He told her he had a surprise for her in there for her graduation present. She opened her eyes and saw a few of their good friends standing there. They stood there awkwardly after yelling surprise, so Giorgi started hugging them all (they kept standing in the awkward line, so Giorgi didn't know what else to do). Then, Peter led her into the middle of the room as their families joined them in the family room. Peter got down on one knee and asked Giorgi if she'd be his wife. She said yes, and they celebrated with dinner and a limo bus to Armory Square in Syracuse. After bar hopping they ended the night with a bonfire at Peter's house with their friends. It was a night to remember!
