Happily ever after

It all started when they swiped right... Peter and Charlene matched on a dating app called Bumble. They spent countless hours texting back and forth, bonding over their shared interests of sneakers, music, and fitness. For their first date, they got boba and walked around Capitol Hill (since nothing was open due to the pandemic). It turned out to be a really good date, because they walked over 10,000 steps while getting to know each other. After that day, they both knew they found something special.

Peter and Charlene officially started dating after their road trip to the Oregon coast. Their journey together has been filled with laughter, adventures, hardships, and unwavering support for each other. From being long-distance while Charlene finished clinicals to moving into their first apartment together in Seattle, their relationship continued to grow. They cannot wait to embark on this next chapter as husband and wife.

Charlene loves Disney, so there was no better place to ask for her hand in marriage than at the Happiest Place on Earth. Their friend group planned a trip to Disney World. On the last day of the trip, Peter took Charlene to the Cinderella wishing well by the Magic Kingdom castle. After taking a photo together, Peter took Charlene by surprise and got down on one knee. She was so shocked that she couldn't talk—but of course, she said "yes!"
