We're getting married!

We first met in 2009 as sophomores in high school, both just 16 years old. Bailey's best friend was dating Peter's best friend. Bailey noticed Peter and urged her best friend to stage a group hangout so that she and Peter could meet. Sneaky Bailey!

Bailey's family has had a cabin in Saluda, NC for 20+ years, and the whole family loves to white water kayak. Peter planned a kayaking trip down the Green River, with a pit stop in the middle for a picnic and gem mining. Little did Bailey know, Peter had snuck a special surprise into the to-go bag full of dirt and gems they had picked up the day before! While picnicking half way down river, they started to sift through their gem bag--Bailey sifting while Peter got down on one knee. We will forever cherish this wonderful memory that happened in such a special place that is near and dear to our hearts!
