Things To Do

Make sure you take a chance to enjoy some of what Williamstown has to offer!
The Clark

The Clark

225 South Street, Williamstown, MA 01267
, (413) 458-2303

The Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute, commonly referred to as the Clark, is an art museum and research institution located in Williamstown, Massachusetts, United States. Its collection consists of European and American paintings, sculpture, prints, drawings, photographs, and decorative arts from the fourteenth to the early twentieth century. (Thanks, Wikipedia!)

Mass MoCA

Mass MoCA

Mass MoCA Way, North Adams, MA 01247
, (413) 662-2111

Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art is a museum in a converted factory building complex located in North Adams. It is one of the largest centers for contemporary visual art and performing arts in the United States. Lots of cool, weird-looking stuff here, and pretty close to the Holiday Inn.

Pine Cobble Mountain

Pine Cobble Mountain

Williamstown, MA 01267

Way less intense than hiking Mt. Greylock, and close by. Offers great views of Williamstown and the surrounding area. The trailhead can be found on Pine Cobble Rd, off of N Hoosac Rd.

Mount Greylock

Mount Greylock

30 Rockwell Road, Lanesborough, MA 01237

At 3,491 feet, Mount Greylock is the highest point in Massachusetts. From its peak on a clear day, you can see as far as 90 miles away. Park is open dawn to dusk. If you're feeling ambitious, you can hike up. If you're like us, just drive up to the summit and check out the beautiful views (parking is $10).

Williams College

Williams College

880 Main Street, Williamstown, MA 01267
, (413) 597-3131

Walk around Williams College campus and feel old! We recommend you stop in Pappa Charlie's on Spring Street for a sandwich. Ask for "The Jen B" off the secret menu (turkey, white cheddar, avocado, cranberry sauce, sprouts, mayo, and mustard on toasted rye, hold the caviar).

Taconic Golf Club

Taconic Golf Club

19 Meacham Street, Williamstown, MA 01267
, (413) 458-3997

Taconic is a beautiful golf course located right next to the Williams College campus. Check out Waubeeka if you're the kind of golfer who doesn't own their own clubs, loses 6 balls per round, and can't answer the question "what's your handicap?"

For all the days along the way
