Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art is a museum in a converted factory building complex located in North Adams. It is one of the largest centers for contemporary visual art and performing arts in the United States. Lots of cool, weird-looking stuff here, and pretty close to the Holiday Inn.
At 3,491 feet, Mount Greylock is the highest point in Massachusetts. From its peak on a clear day, you can see as far as 90 miles away. Park is open dawn to dusk. If you're feeling ambitious, you can hike up. If you're like us, just drive up to the summit and check out the beautiful views (parking is $10).
Walk around Williams College campus and feel old! We recommend you stop in Pappa Charlie's on Spring Street for a sandwich. Ask for "The Jen B" off the secret menu (turkey, white cheddar, avocado, cranberry sauce, sprouts, mayo, and mustard on toasted rye, hold the caviar).
Taconic is a beautiful golf course located right next to the Williams College campus. Check out Waubeeka if you're the kind of golfer who doesn't own their own clubs, loses 6 balls per round, and can't answer the question "what's your handicap?"
