Our Story

We met around Halloween in 2015. We talked through texts and phone calls for a couple weeks. We learned so much about each other, and knew there was something there and had to meet. We then planned a date in Round Rock, TX Downtown November 11, 2015 at the Brass Tap. We can't even put in words how amazing our first date was! Mike even got me to dance to a slow country song, which is hard to get me to do back then (since then he is trying to make me a better dancer). On our second date a couple weeks later, I cooked dinner for us at my apartment. I had told him that I have 2 cats and a dog, and that my older cat does not like anyone, and he probably wouldn't see him. When he arrived I was busy in the kitchen, so he was sitting on my couch. I couldn't see what he was doing, and heard him say "Is this the cat that dosen't like anyone?" I look out from the kitchen to see my non-social cat sitting on his lap loving on him. I was taken a back, and knew then that he was a special guy. We joke that my cat, Schnitzel, picked him for me! We then bonded over how much we have in common, and how long we both have been looking for the right person to be with forever. Our bond grew over time, and we both knew we had found our person to be with the rest of our life. Since then we have built from ground up a successful business, and life together. We have big plans for our future, and can't wait to celebrate and solidify our love with our family and friends!

Our Proposal

Christian (Mike) asked me if I wanted to go to Urban a roof top bar in Round Rock downtown, to celebrate an awesome 1st and 2nd quarter for our business. So we got dressed up to go out for drinks and dinner. Or so I thought! There was a great Country Band playing Amarillo By Morning, Mike asked me if I wanted to leave our table and walk over to the side area where noone was to take photos of the sunset and see the bats flying out from under the bridges. As we were standing there watching the bats and listening to the fiddle player playing an awesome solo at the end of Amarillo By Morning, Mike got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Well kind of asked me 😁 we both just started crying and I grabbed the ring out of his hand, then I said yes, and handed him back the ring to place on my finger correctly. It was a very emotional private moment, that we will both never forget!
