It all started March of 2021. It had been approximately a year into the Pandemic, and it was time for a much needed girls trip for Allie and her best friend, Cassidy. One of their favorite places is the beach, and somewhere near Hollywood Beach sounded like the perfect place to unwind and have some fun. They only had a few days and were bound and determined to fit as much in as they possibly could. While laying on the beach and soaking in the rays, Allie got a message from another best friend of hers, Kyli, saying that she too was going to be down there and that we should all try to meet up. Mind you, Allie and Cassidy only had one more full day before they had to fly back to Wisconsin, so they all had a small window, but were determined to make it happen. On the last night Allie and Cassidy were there, Kyli messaged Allie and asked if they were around to hang out, and they were! Kylie mentioned that her boyfriend had some friends who happened to be down there at the same time as well. Apparently it was the best time to visit Hollywood Beach, Florida! Kyli asked if Allie and Cassidy minded if the other guys joined, and they thought nope, more the merrier! Everyone met up on the boardwalk, and lo and behold, one of the friends was Brett. They all started walking down the boardwalk taking in the beachy night life, when the girls thought it would be a grand idea to use Allie's Polaroid camera and take a picture inside Margaritaville. Brett, being the professional photographer, graciously volunteered himself to take their photo (on a side note, Brett had never used a Polaroid camera before this, but he wasn't going to let them know that!). The girls got their requested photo, but wanted a better shot near the waterfall which may or may not have been closed off. All of them sneaked in to get the perfect picture, but the first one didn't turn out. Brett, not wanting to disappoint, said "Don't worry guys, let's take another!" As Brett was about to snap the photo, they all saw bouncing flashlights heading their way. Not wanting to get in trouble, everyone ran as fast as they could out of Margaritaville barely making it passed the security guards. Did I mention that none of the group members were staying at Margaritaville? Whoops! The group spent the rest of the night chatting and enjoying each other's company. Allie and Cassidy had to get going for their early flight, and Allie thought that would be the last of seeing that handsome photographer. Little did she know, she met her future husband that day! A few months went by, and after Brett found Allie on social media and realized they lived less than an hour away from each other, they started talking and going on dates. It only took a little time to realize that they both found their soulmate and knew they couldn't live without the other. They are madly in love and cannot wait to celebrate with you all!
