Indianapolis Zoo
One of our first dates! Christmas lights while visiting the animals was definitely an experience I never forgot. Now it is tradition, and we go every other year!

During winter, downtown usually has some lights put up and if you walk past the courthouse you can see the beautiful Christmas tree all lit up! There is about 3 to 4 blocks worth of small shops and restaurants that are very unique! The Pike Place that recently opened (also located downtown) might be doing something around then so just do a quick google search to double check;)

Need to kill some time? Go see a movie! Persephanie spent a lot of her middle into high school time here with friends and family!
Plaza Lanes
Not only could you go strike some pins, but they also have an arcade filled with games and prizes! Lazer tag and they moved it into a bigger room so now it is two stories with better hiding places! They even have a bar with a couple pool tables. I would suggest, if you planned on coming here eat before. Amazing food: they just never ever have any stock :(
