Our families knew each other long before either of us were born, and as fate would have it, we ended up going to high school together. While we didn't talk much during that time of our lives, but we certainly noticed each other. We both carried on about our lives for several more years and we wound up connecting through social media, as many couples do nowadays. It only took one date for each of us to know that we were meant to be together. After a year we decided to move in together and start our little family by adopting our dog, Ryder.

After a year and a half of being inseparable, we both knew that we wanted to be together for the rest of our lives. Perry decided it was time to pop the question. After working over a year without a single day off, he decided to take the night off of work to take me to a fancy dinner. I had a sneaking suspicion what he was up to. While we ate, I could tell he was nervous about something, and me being who I am had to ask. After trying to play it off he finally came out and asked me to spend my life with him. Obviously... I said YES!
