Brunch will be held at the Pavilion of Two Sisters inside the New Orleans Botanical Gardens.
The beautiful weather of New Orleans in April, is truly unpredictable. Think comfortable, breathable and bright but also maybe have a plan for rain. Think "Relaxed Elegance" with a dash of "Polished Comfort".
Parking is available, within city park near and around the entrance to Pavilion of Two Sisters. However those driving should be prepared for options to be limited. The nearest parking lot, typically reserved for events at the Pavilion, will likely fill up quickly with Jazz Fest attendees at the morning progresses. Car pooling or taking a Lyft is encouraged!
The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, often referred to as Jazz Fest, is a vibrant celebration of music, culture, and the unique spirit of New Orleans. It is held annually during the last weekend of April and first weekend in May.
Walking from the Pavilion of Two Sisters, in City Park, to Jazz Fest is a relatively short and pleasant stroll, taking about 20-25 minutes. If you opposed to walking, its not a far ride but should expect heavy traffic.
Sooner is always better! Undoubtedly one of the busiest times of year in New Orleans.
There is no reserved block of rooms for this celebration. For the ease of simplicity we suggest reviewing the option available from your preferred hotel chain. Both the brunch and jazz fest are located in a residential part of town that doesn't provide many rental options. Conveniently it is only a few miles from the French quarter and the rest of down town.
The lineup for Jazz Fest is available at www.nojazzfest.com/music
Gates open at 11:00 am. All headline sets each day will end promptly at 7:00 pm.

Jazz Fest is a culinary adventure as much as a music festival. You can indulge in a Cochon de Lait Po'Boy, or try a Yakiniku Po'Boy, a fusion of Japanese grilled beef and the iconic Louisiana sandwich. Maybe a Crawfish Enchilada with a Mango Freeze is more you style. Check that Fest Photos section for some sneak peaks!
New Orleans comes alive during Jazz Fest. It’s a time when the soul of the city shines brightest. Take a stroll down Esplanade. Have an evening in the Quarter. Catch a show on Frenchman. Explore Magazine St.
The term "the cubes" refers to the performance schedule grids that are used to organize the performances over the festival's two-weekend span. Each cube represents a time slot during which an artist or group is performing on one of the festival’s multiple stages. Since Jazz Fest features dozens of performers across multiple stages, the schedule can get very complex. In essence, "the cubes" are a shorthand reference to the detailed, time-based schedule grid that organizes who is playing when and where.
Yes Jazz Fest has been completely cashless for the past few years. They accept all forms of physical CCs along with digital payment provided via a secure mobile wallet transaction.
