Our Love Story ❤️
Perpetua and I first met each other virtually on Bumble in 2017. If you’re unfamiliar with how that dating app works, after matching, the gals must make first contact with the guys within 24 hours or the match will expire. Guys can utilize a one-time 24 hour extension and at the 23:59 mark (give or take a few minutes), I generously extended Perpetua, and she finally reached out to me. To think that our online match in NYC almost didn’t happen truly shows there was something fateful at work here. We dated for several years and eventually began to share an apartment together. In 2020, when we both were forced to work from home in a 1-bedroom apartment, instead of driving each other nuts, we only became more nuts about each other. We loved our increased time together during the height of the pandemic, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen or spending time in the park exercising and being active. Perpetua and I make such a truly wonderful team and eventually I bought a ring and proposed on Christmas morning in 2020. We were all set for a long engagement and were originally eyeing a January 2023 ceremony and celebration, however, some great news compelled us to fast-track our nuptials. Perpetua surprised me with the news that she was pregnant and we are so excited to welcome a baby Segreti to the world this November! But, before that special day, we’ll have another special day; our wedding! We can’t wait to celebrate with you this July!
