COVID-19 Info & Other FAQs

If you have any questions other than what is listed here, especially if you'd like more details about our COVID-19 precautions, please reach out to the bride or groom.
Question

What COVID-19 related precautions will you be implementing for the wedding events?

Answer

The health and safety of our guests is our #1 priority! The currently planned precautions (as of March 2021) are as follows: -The church where our ceremony is being held is quite large with a capacity of 1200 worshipers. While the ceremony is indoors, masks will be required and seating will be socially distanced. -Our reception venue is outdoors in a large courtyard designed for parties of over 800 guests, allowing us plenty of space to spread out. Masks are required in all common spaces at the hotel except when eating or drinking. -Families and those traveling together will be seated at the same table whenever possible. -Dinner will be served action station-style by attendants wearing appropriate PPE behind a plexiglass barrier. -We have invited only our very closest friends and family, so we are expecting 86 guests. -Masks and hand sanitizer will be provided at all events.

Question

Should I get tested for COVID-19 prior to the wedding?

Answer

We strongly encourage and kindly request that guests receive a negative COVID-19 test before the wedding unless they have already received the vaccine. Most states now offer a variety of state-provided free testing options, along with CVS, Walgreens, and even some major airports. If you would prefer to receive a rapid test upon arrival to Naples, FL, you may book a free rapid test at CenturyLink Sports Complex (which is near the SWFL Airport) via this link: https://curative.com/sites/10256#9/26.5443/-81.85 If you have any questions about receiving a test before the wedding, please reach out to the bride or groom.

Question

What other COVID-19 related precautions should I take prior to arriving in Naples, FL?

Answer

The bride and groom want nothing more than our wedding day to be a joyous, safe occasion for everyone. If you suspect you have been exposed to COVID-19 in the weeks leading up to the wedding, or if you or someone in your household is feeling sick (even if you suspect that illness is not related to COVID-19), we kindly ask that you do not attend the wedding. Additionally, we ask that you remain cautious and limit non-essential, high-risk activities as much as possible in the 2 weeks leading up to the wedding.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, there will be a shuttle available from the Hyatt Regency Coconut Regency to the ceremony and back. The shuttle will depart at 12:00pm. Please meet in the lobby at 11:45am if you would like to take the shuttle.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 1:00 pm, so plan to arrive with enough time to be seated in the church.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes, we are registered through Zola, Crate and Barrel, and Target. Links to all of these can be found on the "Registry" tab.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for both the ceremony and reception is black-tie optional. This means that tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.

Question

Do you have any discounted hotel blocks?

Answer

We have reserved a discounted block of rooms at both the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point and TownePlace Suites by Marriott Fort Myers Estero. Website links for both of these discounted blocks can be found on the "Travel" tab.
