Shannon Carnley

Matron of Honor

Shannon is Jenny's older sister and Matron of Honor. Shannon graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in music and is now a middle school choir director in Mesquite ISD. She currently attends Southern Methodist University and is pursuing her masters in music as well. Recently, Shannon married the love of her life, Steven Carnley, in June of 2018. They currently reside in Lewisville with their fat cat, Gus, and their rambunctious dog, Wriggly.

Wes Stenovitch

Best Man

Wes is Austin's best friend from the University of North Texas, but their friendship began when Jenny first met Wes at First Flight Week - a program at UNT to meet students before classes start. Assigned to the same group, it was at this time Jenny and Wes realized they lived just two doors down from each other in the dorms. Wes's roommate Parker Bain coincidentally was in the same First Flight Week group as Austin - so it seems that Wes and Austin's friendship was meant to be. Soon after, the boys became Sigma Nu fraternity brothers and later roommates. Wes graduated in December of 2018, with his bachelor's degree in sports management and a minor in psychology. He is now back at the University of North Texas pursuing a his masters in business administration.

Laurie Bengoa

Maid of Honor

Laurie is Jenny's best friend from the University of North Texas where they met through the Best Man, Wes Stenovitch. Laurie and Jenny met freshman year where they quickly became best friends and have been inseparable ever since. Laurie graduated from the University of North Texas in December of 2018 with a bachelor of arts degree in digital and print journalism. She also doubled minored in English and social sciences at UNT where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with an overall GPA of a 4.0. She is now back at UNT pursuing a master's degree in business administration and will graduate in May 2020!

Roman Villarreal

Groomsman

Roman and Austin are good friends and Sigma Nu fraternity brothers. They met through their fraternity at the University of North Texas and have since been friends and roommates over the years. Roman is from Laredo, Texas where he has a ranch and likes to hunt. Roman loves making salsa, cooking and watching football, but makes poor choices when it comes to what team to cheer for. The Patriots suck; GO COWBOYS!

Kellie Krautter

Kellie and Jenny met playing basketball, volleyball, and soccer in 3rd Grade. Kellie graduated from the University of North Texas in Spring 2019 with a bachelor's degree in business. She majored in Administration in Real Estate and is currently working at Sunwest Real Estate Group as a Leasing Administrator. Kellie is also one of Jenny's Sigma Phi Lambda sorority sisters.

Jimmy Poole

Groomsman

Jimmy and Austin became friends freshman year at the University of North Texas through Austin's mutual friends Wes and Parker. They later became brothers through the Zeta Omicron chapter of Sigma Nu at UNT. Jimmy is from Michigan and loves the Detroit Lions, but we try not to hold that against him. He graduated from the University of North Texas in December of 2019 with a bachelor's degree in mechanical and energy engineering.

Brooke Washum

Bridesmaid

Brooke is Jenny's childhood best friend. Their close friendship dates back to the early days - kindergarten - and have been besties ever since. Brooke and Jenny played soccer, basketball, and volleyball together as kids. Brooke graduated from Southwestern Assembly of God University in December of 2018 with bachelor of arts degree in education. She currently works at Perry Middle School as a sixth grade social studies teacher as well as a the volleyball, basketball and track coach.

Tristin Jones

Groomsman

Tristin and Austin have been friends since pre-school. During her freshman year of high school, Jenny met Tristin which ultimately led to Austin and Jenny crossing paths. And thus began their love story. Tristin has been a part of the United States Marine Corps for four years, and recently finished his four-year enlistment in May. He now hopes to join the Sheriff's Department.

Avery Pieper

Bridesmaid

Avery is Austin's little sister. She is currently in her junior year at Texas Tech University pursuing a degree in nursing. Once she graduates, she hopes to be a physician's assistant working with botox. While at Texas Tech, Avery was initiated into the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority where she found sisters for life at her home away from home.

Hayden Harder

Hayden and Austin met through their fraternity, Sigma Nu. Hayden will graduate from the University of North Texas in May of 2020 with his bachelor's degree in business. He majored in integrative studies with a concentration in entrepreneurship, advertising, and communication. Hayden also minored in real estate.

Mandie Kurpiel

Bridesmaid

Mandie and Jenny met through their sorority Sigma Phi Lambda where Mandie became Jenny's Big Sister. Ever since, Mandie has become a close friend and mentor to Jenny as they pursued the same degree at UNT. Mandie graduated from the University of North Texas in December of 2018 with her bachelor of science degree. She majored in interdisciplinary studies EC-6th grade with an ESL certification. Mandie currently works in Plano ISD as a 3rd Grade teacher.

Will Gee

Groomsman

Will and Austin are Sigma Nu fraternity brothers. They met freshman year through the Best Man, Wes Stenovitch. After meeting and becoming friends, they quickly became brothers through Sigma Nu. Will loves the outdoors and going hunting. He currently works for AJ Rental fixing machines.
