Josh and I met through some mutual friends in the 7th grade lol. Although we were young and had no idea what "Love" meant I knew he was something special. We have been through so many ups and downs but at the end of the day it was all worth it. Till this day we still reminisce on the day we met and all the other great memories we have made along the way. We always say we couldn't picture life with anyone else and can't wait to celebrate our special day with you all.

A while back my friend Karisa asked me if Josh and I wanted to go to this Lavender festival in Imlay a little town her fiancé is from. So I was like sure why not I absolutely love Lavender. Well the day came when we went and it was beyond hot out. We were all sweating. We ended up taking a shuttle bus from the lavender festival to the lavender farm. The whole bus ride there I had no idea what was about to happen. We got off the bus and started walking around. It was so beautiful out and the smell was amazing. So the time came where if you know me you know I love taking pictures. We went up this hill where there was so much Lavender and told Karisa let's take our pictures here. She of course knew what was going to happen next and was like ok. While we were taking pictures Josh kept looking at me as if he was going to tell me a joke or something. He then grabbed my hand and got down on one knee. My first response was "what are you doing?" followed by "are you serious" I then blacked out for a minute. I didn't know what to do or say other then YES! What turned out to be just a double date at the Lavender festival turned into one of the best days of our lives. I couldn't have asked for a better proposal.
