FAQs

Question

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

Yes, we have reserved rooms at two local hotels, and the links to those hotels can be found on our Travel page. Please mention you are booking for the Todd/ Perez-Mena wedding.

Question

Where will the Ceremony and Reception take place?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be at: St. Augustine Church & Catholic Student Center 1738 W University Ave, Gainesville, FL 32603 The reception will be at: The Granville Plantation 760 SW 202nd St, Newberry, FL 32669

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Because we are having a full wedding mass in the catholic church, it is recommended to dress in your Sunday best. Dresses and suits are encouraged. It is also important to remember our wedding is in February, so we recommend bringing a jacket/sweater/wrap for warmth as the night gets cooler.

Question

When do you need my RSVP? And how do I RSVP?

Answer

We would love to know if you can attend as soon as possible! However, we need to know by January 5th in order to let some of our vendors know our final numbers. We are using this website to collect all of our RSVP information through the link at the top of the page (RSVP), and then enter the name on your invitation.

Question

Can I bring a friend/date/plus one/family member?

Answer

We wish that we could open our wedding to anyone who wants to attend, however, we are limited on space at both venues. We have tried our best to include as many people as possible, and we are already expecting a full house with our current guest list. Please only RSVP for the indicated names on the list.

Question

What time should we arrive?

Answer

Our wedding mass starts at 2:00 pm. We ask that you arrive to St. Augustine's 10-15 minutes early so that you have some time to park and choose a seat before mass begins. After mass has ended, you can go directly to The Granville Plantation to greet the bride and groom!

Question

What time does the reception start and end?

Answer

Our reception at Granville Plantation will begin with a cocktail hour immediately following the ceremony. We will have time for photos, dinner, dancing, and cutting the cake! We plan on the reception ending around 10:00pm.

Question

What type of food will you have?

Answer

We will have a served buffet of Churrasco Steak and Lemon butter snapper. Please indicate your preference on the RSVP. We will also have appetizers, side dishes, salad, and a dessert station!

Question

Will there be dancing?

Answer

Have you met Jennifer or Luis??

Question
