We have known each other since 3rd grade at Scioto Ridge Elementary! We went all the way through school together and eventually both attended Ohio State. After many years of being good friends, we started dating after attending a friend's wedding together four years ago.

We got engaged in the middle of a pandemic! Jeff had been planning to propose at our favorite restaurant with our parents and a few close friends. When coronavirus shut down all the restaurants the week before his planned proposal, he decided he didn't want to wait. He surprised Alex with an Easter lunch proposal.

Due to COVID limitations, we got married in a small ceremony on September 5, 2020. We loved our day and are so happy we were able to move forward with our marriage, but are looking forward to celebrating our anniversary with our loved ones.
