We met in a little town called Alamogordo, New Mexico. Danny was coming to an end of his F-16 Pilot Training while I was just starting my career as a traveling Occupational Therapist. With a little help from a dating site... we have been inseparable ever since. Alamogordo has always held such a special place in our hearts and we are happy to return for Danny's next F-16 assignment (June 2022).

Danny and I were on a weekend trip with my mother, aunt, and cousin venturing in Gatlinburg, TN. Growing up, my family spent many weekend trips visiting Gatlinburg. My family always made sure we spent a day visiting the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, specifically the Chimney Tops picnic area. We'd spend the day grilling out while climbing the massive boulders and watching the stream come rushing through. Danny knew the Chimney Tops held a memorable place in my heart, especially with my Dad. Once we arrived at the park, Danny decided this would be the perfect spot and got down on one knee while standing on a boulder overlooking a beautiful cobble stone bridge.
