Margaret is not just Abby and Jacob's officiant; she’s also the most supportive friend they could ask for. Abby first met Margaret approximately 30 seconds after arriving at Columbia, where they immediately bonded over shared eye-rolls at the Frat Boy introducing us. Known for her sharp intellect and quick wit, Margaret is not just a brilliant mind but also an incredibly thoughtful person. Whether deep in debate or pumping iron at the gym, Margaret enriches every moment. Abby and Jacob are excited to have Margaret leading us into this next chapter of their lives!
Eliza Pelton
Maid of Honor
Eliza is Abby's sister and maid of honor. Over the years, they've grown inseparable, connected by the shared experiences that have shaped them. With her generous spirit, strong opinions, and dedication to the people and causes important to her, Eliza is a true force to be reckoned with. Abby seeks her advice almost every day, and she always delivers with wisdom and support. Whether Eliza is dragging Abby to hot yoga or Abby is forcing Eliza to play board games, their time together is filled with laughter and a good dose of family gossip. Abby is infinitely grateful to Eliza for always being there for her, as her sister, confidante, and now, maid of honor.
Ana Brown

Ana is Abby's bridesmaid and absolute ride-or-die. As the daughters of lifelong friends, Ana and Abby's bond was inevitable and has only strengthened over the years. Ana has been Abby's best friend for 16 years. Their friendship spans from matching outfits and choreographed dance routines to filling lockdown with bike rides and daiquiris. Ana is adventurous and passionate and brings excitement to every moment just by her presence. Abby is delighted to have Ana by her side as a bridesmaid and in all the adventures to come.
Evie McCorkle
Bridesmaid
Evie is Abby's delightful bridesmaid the wedding's baking extraordinaire! Evie and Abby's friendship blossomed in law school, where Evie single-handedly kept Abby sane via a regimen of study sessions, Hot Girl Walks, and laughter that only Evie could deliver. Known for her incredible baking skills, Evie is the mastermind behind the decadent cakes that sweeten our friends’ birthdays and the mouthwatering cupcakes that will grace our wedding day. She is Abby's fiercest friend, with tenacity, intelligence, and an incredible sense of humor to boot. Abby fully expects to see Evie take over the world someday. Until then, she is honored to have Evie as a bridesmaid.
Kaleem Ahmid
Groomsman
Kaleem moved to Boston from South Africa in 2016 for college. A large portion of his time at Northeastern University was spent on the ethics bowl team, arguing alongside Jacob (which is how they first met and became friends). The only activity Kaleem enjoys more than arguing alongside Jacob is recreationally arguing with Jacob about basically everything. Other than a love of philosophy, they share (and acknowledge the pompousness of) a connoisseurship for coffee and fine food, as well as enjoying edgy comedy and British panel shows like Would I Lie to You? and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.
Kirby Hales
Groomsman
Kirby Hales hails from California, where he met Jacob at UC Berkeley. There, they spent many evenings arguing philosophy late into the night, usually over big piles of food or frozen yogurt. Kirby and Jacob share a mutual appreciation of bookstores, 'looks' sentences, and black Columbia puff coats. Kirby is now a teacher, beignet expert, and all round gentleman. Jacob wishes he read as many novels as Kirby does
Nick Ashworth
Groomsman
Nick and Jacob are friends from UC Berkeley. There, they bonded over philosophy, espressos, and Nick always driving Jacob home after a night out. Nick is Jacob's go-to for chats on the phone regarding ideas for projects, and complaining about people (no one invited to this wedding I'm sure). At some point, Nick is going to teach Jacob how to ski and Jacob is going to teach Nick winter mountaineering.
Benny
Ring Bearer
Benny is the official mascot of Abby and Jacob’s wedding, and potentially our ring bearer. He is a good boy.
