We’re getting married!

They were acquaintances from the start. Beginning in high school Spanish, they were in the same circles. They knew each other through mutual friends, though were never that close at first. They ended up counseling at church camp many years together. When Anna viewed him as a love interest, he was dating someone else. When Paul was interested in pursuing a relationship, Anna was with someone else. They even attended the same Prom group in Anna's junior year- with different dates! It seemed as though they were always a part of each other's lives without realizing how close they would soon become. After a breakup, they reconnected while he was at ASU studying Bio-Chemistry and Anna was finishing her senior year of high school. Paul and Anna went bowling one night to offer each other some friendship, but immediately were drawn to each other. When you ask them about their first date, they both mention "they just knew that was it". A few weeks later, they went to the Sadie Hawkins dance together. That was the beginning of their beautiful life together. Most of their relationship was long-distance. Paul went to ASU while Anna was at NAU, followed by Paul in Tucson for Pharmacy School and Anna in Phoenix to start her teaching career. Seven years later, they finally moved in together and were in the same place! Many people ask them if long-distance was hard. Yes... it was, but they always knew that they wanted and needed to be together and did what was necessary to reach their goals. Paul and Anna have found a home in each other, a place of rest, a new beginning, and love to last a lifetime. They cannot wait for you to celebrate with them on their big day!
