What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than July 7th

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black tie optional/cocktail attire is requested. We suggest that men wear a suit or dress shirt with tie, and women wear a floor- or knee-length dress or dressy separates. No jeans, shorts, or flip flops please.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we've decided to make this an adults only event. So have a drink or two and let loose with us!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your guest is listed on your invite and when you RSVP, then yes! Your invitation will be made out to “[Your Name] & Guest” if a plus one has been given to you. Due to limited capacity and pre-arranged meal quantities with the caterer, we can only allow the people named on your invitation to be present. Thank you for understanding!

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00pm, so please arrive 15-30 minutes prior to avoid any issues.

Where is the ceremony taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at The Standard. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors on the rooftop deck.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels and venue?

Answer

Yes. Complimentary shuttle vans (12-14 seats each) will be available at the Courtyard Marriott and Hilton Garden Inn to transport guests to the venue and back. Space is limited and is on a first come first serve basis. Courtyard Marriott - Vans available beginning at 3:30pm and final departure is at 4:15pm. Space is limited. Hilton Garden Inn - 1 shuttle available beginning at 3:30pm and will depart for the venue once full. If you are staying elsewhere or if you are unable to catch the shuttle, Uber and Lyft are available in the area.

Is there parking available at The Standard?

Answer

Yes, parking is available at 215 S. Madison Street (approx. 0.1 mi/3 min walk from The Standard)

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are several hotels in the area as well as Airbnb options. Please refer to the Travel page for recommendations.

Question

When should I book my hotel room?

Answer

Due to a large city-wide event occurring in the area, you are encouraged to book your hotel room ASAP to avoid any issues. We have a limited block of rooms reserved at The Courtyard Marriott and The Hilton Garden Inn at a discounted rate. You may reach out to any hotel in the area and book outside of a room block, if desired. Please refer to the Travel page for more information.

I have a food allergy. Can I make a special request?

Answer

There will be a vegetarian/gluten free meal option available when you RSVP. For any other food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know by June 1st so we can prepare the caterer accordingly.

Is the venue ADA compliant?

Answer

Yes, The Standard is fully ADA compliant. There is a wheelchair lift as well as an elevator.
