Are kids welcome?

Although we love your little ones, this is an adults-only affair!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, please refer to our "Travel" tab! There is a hotel block of 30 rooms at the Wingate by Wyndam hotel in Lexington, VA. However, we know everyone's budget is different, so there are additional hotels listed to choose from! Ultimately, stay at whatever place works for you.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Unfortunately, there is no transportation to and from hotels for our wedding. Please keep this in mind during the reception - we want everyone getting back to their rooms safely!

We would recommend cocktail or dressy casual attire.

Answer

Yes, we have two registries! Please refer to our "Registry" tab to view our registry list here on Zola, or click the link at the bottom of the page to be taken to our Amazon registry. We also welcome cash gifts to apply toward our honeymoon! However, we love you all regardless of whether or not you get us a gift.

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors on the peninsula at 4:00pm. (The peninsula is full of willow trees, so we expect it to be shady and comfortable!) The reception will take place in the climate-controlled barn a few hundred feet away after the ceremony.
