We're getting married!

Once upon a time, in the cozy town of Anthony, Kansas, two kids began a journey that would weave their lives together in the most beautiful way. It all started when we were just 10 years old in Mrs. Pollock's homeroom class. A lucky shot on the basketball court before the bell rang, Jacob bet his best friends, Estin and Parker, that if he made the shot he would ask Payton (the new girl) to be his girlfriend. He made the shot and got the girl... She then “broke” his heart on the swingset 2 weeks later. That year they sat next to each other in math class, where she shared her Texas A&M ruler with him. Jacob then moved to Alaska for 4 years. Jacob slid into Payton’s DMs when he found out he was coming back to Kansas the summer after our freshman year of high school. He simply said “Hey. Remember me?” As we navigated the unpredictable terrain of Chaparral High School our friendship blossomed into something deeper. At the tender age of 16, amidst the chaos of high school hallways, football games, student council meetings, and teenage dreams, we took a leap of faith and embarked on a journey of young love. Our story continued to unfold as we ventured into adulthood hand in hand. Together, we tackled the challenges of college life at Kansas State University, creating memories that would last a lifetime. From late-night trips to Sonic, to wearing number 53 for our beloved Wildcats, every moment was sweeter because we were together. After Payton's graduation from graduate school, we set our sights on the vibrant city of Chicago for Jacob’s dream job of building racing engines for Borowski Race Engines, ready to conquer the world as a team. Amidst the hustle and bustle of suburb life, in our cozy studio apartment, our little family grew by four paws and a wagging nub-tail. Boots, our loyal companion, brought endless joy and boundless love into our lives, reminding us of the simple pleasures every day. And now, as we stand on the threshold of a new chapter, we are filled with gratitude for the journey that brought us here. Surrounded by the love of our families and friends, we are ready to embark on the greatest adventure yet—marriage. With Boots by our side and love in our hearts, we vow to cherish each other for all eternity. Join us as we celebrate the magic of love that began in childhood and flourished into a lifelong romance.
