The ceremony will starts at 5:00 pm sharp so please arrive at least 15 minutes early! Just down the hall from our ceremony & reception location you will find Magnetic South Brewery. We recommend arriving early to grab a beer before making your way past Stumpy's Hatchet House and Bar (Ax throwing) through double doors that will lead you across the upper balcony and down the stairs to the glass enclosed smokestack where the ceremony will be held.
The venue is only 2 miles away from all of the wedding hotels listed on our site! We strongly recommend taking an Uber or Lyft to & from the venue so that you can relax and enjoy the evening. https://www.eventsatjudsonmill.com/event-parking.html
Please visit the website below for parking instructions and a map that shows how to navigate to the Smokestack where the ceremony will be taking place. https://www.eventsatjudsonmill.com/event-parking.html
Per the laws of Greenville county, our venue must check ID's for guests consuming alcohol & will be given a small handstamp. No outside alcohol is allowed and subject to heavy fines. But don't worry! We will be providing an open bar all evening long with plenty for everyone :)
Once the largest textile mill in Greenville County, The Judson Mill opened in March 1912 and like most Greenville mills, produced textiles. In 1933, Deering-Milliken took over operation, and eventually ownership, of the Judson property. As the textile industry advanced during and after World War II, Deering-Milliken made a series of additions and alterations to the mill complex that allowed the company to innovate. Expanding to an eventual 1,000,000 sq foot campus, Judson Mill was sold in 2017 to a development team responsible for crafting its new future.
We love all our guest’s kiddos! If your RSVP includes your little ones, please let us know who from your family will be attending. We will need to provide our vendor with age ranges so please include that information in your RSVP. We understand not everyone has the ability to take a weekend for themselves with their kids being cared for back home so we want to be respectful of that. However, if you do have a perfect situation to take the weekend for yourselves, it would be a wonderful opportunity!
Our preferred dress code is formal or cocktail attire! For the women, think midi or full length dresses & gowns. For the men, sticking with a classic suit & nice dress shoes is always a great option. No need to stress through! What is most important is that you are there with us, celebrating this next exciting chapter.
