It IS indeed- please wish the groom an early birthday at the reception! (What a spectacular birthday gift of McKenna FOREVER…)
We will be arriving the Friday before about mid-day.
Yes, however, we request a heads-up just to have a headcount of the little ones! Please note; we will not be providing childcare, but suggest contacting Rancho Bernardo Inn to see if they have a bonded babysitter list. There are multiple families with small children so we will try to connect all via a text or email prior to the date to try to work together on childcare solutions!
Yes!! We will have photographers and a videographer to capture the special day, so we ask that you let them work their magic during the ceremony! During the reception and at any other point we welcome you to capture moments on your cellphone— as long as you share after ;)
As much as we would absolutely love to have as many people as possible to celebrate with us, we ask that you honor your invitations. Plus ones will be denoted on invitations. Please let us know if there is any confusion or questions!
Both! The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside (the ceremony will be on grass, ladies!) but the reception will be in a ballroom.
Rehearsal/welcome drinks will be cocktail attire and the wedding ceremony and reception is formal attire! Tan / Neutral colors are preferred to match the theme.
There will be a rehearsal dinner on Saturday for those in the wedding party and a few close family members. After the rehearsal dinner, everybody is invited to come to welcome drinks which will be pre-paid up to a certain cash limit. Drinks and dinner will be provided for all guests after the ceremony until the party ends around 10 pm. The plan for the after party is TBD. For other meals during the weekend, the Rancho Bernardo Inn has great restaurants on site.
Please be advised Lyfts / Ubers are available in this area but not plentiful. We recommend scheduling pick ups ahead of time.
