He has supported our relationship from day one and has gained a soft spot in our children’s lives as Uncle Vik!

Ashley, she is my right hand man! She is not just a friend more like a sister to me. Ashley and I met in college about 7 years ago. I grew to admire how beautiful, sweet and intelligent she was and knew we would be friends for a very long time. Through our ups and downs, she has always stayed loyal. A man that has grown to be like family to me. We grew up playing baseball, football, and basketball on the same teams as kids. Jordan has been around since Day 1 of my relationship with Raven. We still laugh at the fact that he introduced himself to Raven as "Jerusalem!" We have been through it all. But nothing is more important than knowing that Jordan has fought hard to make sure his health is his #1 priority. It is just important to him as it is to me, that he is apart of this special day for Raven and I... It is an honor!

When I first met Tia, she was very stern! It took a few months before I grew on her. Even though Tia will be my sister-in-law, she is still like a friend to me. I can go to her for anything and she knows the I am here for her as well. She has opened her heart and showed me love. Tia can make me laugh and smile whenever I am having a bad day; from her "slow moments" to her random twerking! Thank you for being a great sister-in-law. 💚

From little league football to fathers, Manny and I have grown up with each other. Since we were about 6 years old, we played on the same little league football team. Manny was #58 and I was #30/2. We hit it off right off the bat. Manny is older than me, and for that reason I have always looked up to him. As time has gone by, we still managed to remain connected through social media and occasional calls. When we do talk, it seems like we never miss a beat and Manny and I are still the best of friends. Blood couldn’t make us any closer. Thank you, Manny for the support of our relationship and being apart of this joyous day!

I met Addie in Dental Assistant school. We immediately gravitated to one another. She is very intelligent, crafty, and a bright individual. James has been around me my entire life. and has grown to be like my cousin. As quarterback of our little league football team, He threw me my first touchdown pass. It has been history ever since! James is living in Texas, but when we talk we are still closer than ever. He always asks about our children and makes sure that Raven and I are doing well. He genuinely cares about my family. It is a blessing to be able to have him stand by my side, as we talked about our own wedding days when we were kids!

Victoria “V” Garza

Victoria is a ball of fun! We met while working together and soon grew close because we always kept each other laughing. I always had the jokes to keep V going when she had a bad day. Our friendship blossomed and we enjoyed going to lunch together (We LOVE eating at Pho restaurants and Noodles & Company!). I love that V has helped me become a better mother. As a new mom, Victoria taught me that I can be a great mother to my children and balance life enough to enjoy it! We grew close so fast that I cannot wait to see where our friendship goes in the years to come! 💙

Growing up Raven was always a daddy's girl. Ray has blessed Raven with a wonderful mother and 4 amazing siblings. Every summer Ray would drive down to Denver from Lincoln, NE and get Raven to go back to Lincoln, Raven loved these rides because she got to spend time with her dad. They would sing Toni Braxton songs and eat sunflower seeds. Ray is laidback, chilled, and a loving person.

My mom and best friend. She modeled the type of woman I knew I would fall in love with. I am thankful to have a mother who gave me such a kind heart and a hard exterior. She has been rooting for our relationship through the ups and downs, has bent over backwards multiple times for our kids and is truly a blessing to have in our lives. I know that giving her only son away to a woman is hard enough but she has helped with decorating and getting things situated for the wedding! I Love you, Shawty!

Shawn as always pushed Raven to be the women she is today. Raven and Shawn have always had a real mother and daughter relationship. A way they bond together 1st would have to sport basketball. Shawn and Raven both coach 8th grade basketball. Shawn has always been a supportive parent when it came to Ravens game. Second would be there love for the movie Love and Basketball and Coyote Ugly.
