Chicago is well-known for it's architecture. We recommend Wendella, but there are many companies who offer tours along the lake and river. If you want to see the city and learn about it's history, we highly recommend booking a tour!
Both hotel blocks are located really conveniently to the Magnificent Mile, which has tons of shopping! If you make your way south, you can hit the Starbucks Reserve or make your way across the river to one of our favorite rooftops in the Londonhouse Hotel.
Better known as The Bean! This is one of Chicago's most popular sights, reflecting the city's famous skyline and surrounding green area. There is an amphitheater nearby, which usually has live music or movies in the park on Friday nights! There's also Chicago-themed mini golf if you're looking for an activity in the park.
If it's a nice day, we highly recommend taking a walk along the Lakefront Trail! It runs 18.5mi in total and if you want to check out where we got engaged, you can enter at North Ave.
Wrigley Field is home to the Cubs! Whether or not there's a game in town, Wrigley Field and surrounding Wrigleyville is a great way to spend a summer afternoon. If you're in the area, check out Sluggers - a nearby bar with a batting cage upstairs!
The Signature Room is found on the 95th floor of the John Hancock Building and has AMAZING views of the city! We recommend grabbing a drink here as food & bev is a little pricey. Ladies, make sure you check out the view from the restroom too!
If you're looking for the views but not interested in pricey drinks, check out the Sky Deck on the 103rd floor at Willis Tower. You can buy tickets online in advance and won't be disappointed by the incredible views that extends to 4 states.
Portillo's is a Chicago classic! Paul would tell you to order the Italian Beef and Lindsey will say the Chicago Dog. Whatever you do, don't order ketchup on your hot dog!
Deep dish pizza is another Chicago staple! Our favorite is Lou Malnati's, which you can find throughout the city. Other favorites are Giordano's and Pequod's!
There are so many amazing restaurants in Chicago, but the West Loop/Fulton Market are particularly known for their great food! Some of our favorites in the area are Duck Duck Goat, Green Street Smoked Meats, Trivoli Tavern, and Aba. Make sure you book a reservation!
