Unfortunately we are only able to accommodate children in the wedding party at our reception.
Cocktail attire is appropriate for our wedding. The 30-minute ceremony will also be outdoors, weather-permitting. While we are hopeful for a beautiful fall day, it could be quite chilly so please come prepared! Our reception will be in a temperature-controlled building.
Check out our extensive list on the "Travel" tab located at the top of this page. We have room block options and non-room block suggestions. We recommend booking ASAP as fall is a very busy time in the Shenandoah Valley! If you need help deciding where to stay, please contact Paula or Will.
Shuttle to the Wedding Venue: Shuttle service from the Marriott TownePlace Suites, Hampton Inn and Super 8 to the wedding venue will be available by request only. Guests who requested a seat on the shuttle in their RSVP have been sent a shuttle information email with the pickup time. If you did not receive this email, please contact Paula as soon as possible at 202-374-9381. Return Shuttle Information: The shuttle will return to all hotels on a rolling basis starting at 8:00 pm. The last shuttle will depart the wedding venue at midnight. The return shuttle is on a first come, first served basis.
Please plan to arrive at the venue no later than 3:00 pm. Guests are invited to arrive 30 - 15 minutes early for a special welcome surprise from the bride and groom! Our wedding falls over peak fall foliage dates in Shenandoah National Park. As Front Royal is the north entrance station to the park, our quiet little town sees thousands of tourists and a lot of traffic this time of year and drive times can be longer. If you plan on driving, please allow 30-minutes of extra travel time. If you have a confirmed seat on the shuttle to the venue, please make sure to board on time to be considerate of other guests.
On demand rideshare services such as Uber/Lyft are very limited in Front Royal, and we do not suggest depending on them for local transportation, however you may be able to schedule an Uber/Lyft pick-up in advance. Please check the rideshare apps for availability of this feature.
