Where should I stay up north?
Answer
The wedding day takes place in Ellsworth, MI. There is very little lodging in Ellsworth, but much more in nearby Charlevoix. We will have shuttles running from downtown Charlevoix - or you are welcome to drive directly to the venue. Bellaire, Elk Rapids, East Jordan, Traverse City are all great places to stay and within reach if driving. Additionally, there are all sorts of great Airbnbs around Torch Lake!

Is there a nearby airport?

Flying directly into Traverse City (TVC) is the most direct option. It is very common for flight prices to rise as summer approaches, so make sure to check early! TVC - Cherry Capital Airport - 45 min drive DTW - Detroit Metro Airport - 4 hour drive ORD - Chicago O'Hare - 5 hour drive

Do I need to rent a car?
Answer
It is recommended to rent a car for the weekend because there is no public transportation and very few Ubers or Lyfts in the area. We will be providing transportation from Charlevoix to the wedding venue during the day of the wedding.

Will there be transportation to the wedding ceremony and reception?
Answer
Yes! There will be shuttles to and from downtown Charlevoix. More details to come
