Hey Friends! I'm Kristen. I grew up in the shadow of the Appalachian mountains, and while I love nature, I am not very outdoorsy. I know that is puzzling, but welcome to my world. I am privileged to work as the Student and Communications Director at Rileyville Baptist Church and have been for ten years. With encouragement from friends and many prayers, I signed up for eHarmony. I found Benjamin, or rather, he found me last fall. His strong faith in the Lord and his commitment to his family is what stood out to me first. Getting to know him has been the best kind of adventure, and I'm excited to start this next chapter together.

How's it going? I'm Ben. For those of you that don't know me, I am the middle child of seven, homeschooled, follower of Christ, coffee lover, sports enthusiast, a friend to everyone, will always choose the mountains over the beach, and I've spent over half of my life in school! Those are just a few highlights of my life growing up, now let me tell you a little about my recent highlights. I met Kristen on eHarmony last year and I think anyone who knows Kristen would agree that while her smile draws you in, her heart keeps you around. During our initial conversations, I fell in love with her passion for serving in ministry, her kindness, and joyful attitude. Early on in our relationship, Kristen asked me what my highlight was that day. I remember telling her that my day was quite mundane and I couldn't think of a highlight. She smiled and told me that the whole point was finding ways to be thankful and to find beauty in our mundane days. That conversation is still one of my favorite memories of getting to know Kristen and we still share our highlights regularly. Kristen has been the highlight I never expected and has turned my mundane days into days full of joy and thankfulness.
Coffee Lovers
Our favorite blends are a dark or medium roast.
Our first date was at a coffee shop in Fredericksburg called the "Hyperion", (highly recommend). Since then we have tried many coffee shops but are always looking for more! If you have a shop you love tell us, we'd love to try your favorite blend!
