Dublin Airport (DUB) is the closest international airport to the wedding venue in Borris, County Carlow. It is about 1-1.5 hour drive to Borris from the airport and Dublin City. Dublin City center is about 25 minutes from the airport if you plan to stay in Dublin prior to arriving in Borris.

Shannon Airport

Depending on your travel plans, Shannon Airport (SNN) is another international airport on the western coast of Ireland in County Clare. It is approximately 1 hour from the Cliffs of Moher and 1 hour from Galway City.

Shuttle

Bus from Dublin to Borris House

May 9, 2023 2:00 pm - 2:00 pm

For those without a car or transportation to Borris House, a coach bus will be picking people up in a central location (TBD) in Dublin and taking them to Borris House on 5/9/23 at 2:00pm. There will be a return trip picking up at Borris House on 5/11/23 at 12:00 to go back to Dublin.

There are multiple car rental companies found at the Dublin airport. Please note that most cars in Ireland are manual, although there are automatic options. It is recommended that couples or groups planning to travel together may share a rental car.

Shuttle

Wedding Day Shuttle

Sacred Heart Catholic Church is a 3 minute drive from Borris House and less than 0.5 mile away. If you do not have a rental car or transportation in place, a shuttle service will be provided to take guests from Borris House to Sacred Heart Church for the wedding ceremony, and back to Borris House for the reception. Shuttle times are TBD.
