We met our Freshman year at Lincoln Christian University. All of our friends were having a movie night and they decided they wanted us to meet so they made it so that we would sit next to each other. So, we got to sit next to each other that night and even though we may not have talked much, it is where it all began...

Patrick walked me to the Alumni Courtyard at school and when we got there he started rifling through his backpack. I was very confused so I asked him, "what did you forget?". Then, he took out a ring box and started getting down on one knee. He said "two years ago, I asked you to be my girlfriend at this spot..." After those words, I saw the ring and I deciphered what was happening so nothing else mattered. I hugged him and didn't hear anything else he said. And of course, I said "YES"
