Patrick and David met at a Philly bar through a mutual friend. David tried to get Patrick to skip a line to continue their conversation but Patrick said no. Unfortunately, they did not exchange any information so David found Patrick on social media and slid into his DM’s. Patrick accepted David’s offer for a dinner date and they spent a wonderful evening at The Continental Midtown in Center City before going out for drinks. A few weeks later, the world shut down and Patrick and David grew close in lockdown over many bottles of wine and charcuterie boards. The rest is history!

Unbeknownst to Patrick, David had been planning his proposal with the help of Patrick and David’s friends. After a few edits, changes to the plan, and a possible disagreement about what Patrick was wearing, David popped the question at Corked 2.0, one of their favorite restaurants in the Lehigh Valley and Patrick, who was in disbelief, unequivocally said YES!
