Amy & I have done the Ladder Hike there twice & it's incredible! The views at the top are some of the best! It's a strenuous hike & not for those that are afraid of heights. A group will be going up early Friday led by none other than Tom Feiten himself, who has done the Ladder Hike many times! If you want to join that group, reach out to Tom at 865-271-7255 to get in on the fun! Hiking shoes preferred but not mandatory.
All of these are on the mountain, our favorite is the Emerald Outback
We have not done this but the reviews are very good and it's close to town. Go to their website and check it out they offer all kinds of fun stuff. Note: The rafting trip is most of the day.
Super cool place on the top of Beech, you ride the chairlift up which means you need to buy a lift ticket (not sure but probably $12-$15). Or you can cheat and park at the emerald outback and walk up. Music plays from 2:30-5:30 on Saturdays, if you a good seat try to get there a bit early if it's sunny bring a hat.
It is our tradition that every time we visit Beech Mountain we go to Bella's! 10/10 recommend for delicious authentic Italian food. Below we have listed our favorite's if you have trouble deciding! Amy' Favorite- Chicken Fettucine Alfredo Patrick's Favorite- Chicken Parmesan
