We originally met online. We had our first date at The Grog in Newburyport, MA. We completely hit it off from the beginning, talks of life, fawns, listening to Reggae and Chap Hop with a chilly walk down the pier made for a most romantic evening. We were on cloud nine that night and just knew that we really just needed each other for the rest of our lives since.
We went for family photos at the Concord Bridge Minuteman Park. We met our friends Kevin and Nicole Sheppard with their kids who just finished their photo session, or so I thought. While Patrick was putting the picnic basket aside Caleigh and I were getting our pictures taken, just me and her. We just finished and I went over to talk to Kevin and Braeden, I was telling them how Patrick took me on a date there, and that day was the first day I met Caleigh. When I turn around to watch Patrick and Caleigh getting their pictures taken I see Caleigh holding a sign. "Will you marry my daddy?". I walked over to him holding back my tears, and he gets down on one knee and told me "Nicole, I've loved you since the moment I met you." He told me about how happy he has been since meeting me, how he loves all the time he spends with me and wants to grow old with me. We got all sappy and he finally asked me, "Nicole Danielle Flagg, will you marry me?" Of course you know what I said or you wouldn't be on this website now.
We are planning a small Jan. 2018 ceremony at the Exeter Inn, Exeter, NH January 14th, 2018 with immediate family and a few close friends. We will have a larger Fall 2020 (hopefully Oct. 10th @ Searles Castle, Windham, NH) wedding to celebrate with all our family and friends near and far.
