Let’s celebrate together!

On October 6, 2019 Max arrived to pick me up for our first date. We were going to Top Golf and grabbing some lunch. Being the gentleman that he is, he comes to my door and I let him inside while I gathered my purse. He had the audacity to take his shoes off and sit down! Acting like he had already had the forethought that he was going to be sticking around. Well, I was not having that and poked fun at him for taking his shoes off and making himself comfortable before we had even gone on the date. Once he finally put his shoes on we headed to Top Golf. It was about a 25 minute drive from my apartment and he talked the whole time. Which worked for me since I was getting to know him. Once we were at Top Golf we proceeded to play two games where he took it like a champ when lost both rounds. Even though inside he was probably seething since he is a sore loser. However I am also a sore loser so I don’t take that personally at all. After we finished playing we hung out at the bar and talked. Right from the beginning I loved his personality and his confidence. He is very charming but has a goofy air which makes him fun to be around. He took me back home and I invited him to stay a bit longer so we could continue our conversations which somehow ended up with us playing Jeopardy (where I beat him again). Playing Jeopardy became a tradition for us until Hulu deleted all of our recordings and no longer records episodes. Regardless, after our first date I knew that we had a great connection and I definitely wanted to see where it led.
