Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors on a grassy lawn and the reception will be under a tent next to the ceremony space. The venue is on the water so there may be a sea breeze.

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There is limited parking at The Breakwater for the ceremony and reception. Car pooling is helpful if possible! The parking area is behind The Breakwater Inn Spa building. There will be a parking attendant to help direct you. There is always traffic through Dock Square and on Route One in the summer so please plan accordingly.

Is there a shuttle bus?

Answer

There will not be a shuttle bus. We recommend staying on site at The Breakwater or one of the nearby hotels within walking distance. Please check out the Travel & Lodging tab for recommendations.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are only able to accommodate the children in our immediate families. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can enjoy a well-deserved night off and celebrate with us! If you need help finding a sitter, please let us know and we will provide you with recommendations.
