11:30 am - 12:45 pm
As Indian weddings can get quite long, we invite you to attend a buffet lunch to start the day.
1:00 pm - 1:45 pm
The Baraat is a pre-wedding tradition where the groom and his family/friends meet outside the venue and have a parade celebration leading up to his arrival to marry the bride. Lots of dancing, music, and fun!
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Indian attire not required but if you would like to wear something, you can look at this website for ideas: kalkifashion.com OR houseofindya.com. Lehengas/jumpsuits for women are comfortable and easier than sarees. Kurtas are an option for men. If you are not wearing indian attire, semi-formal/cocktail attire is great too! Some clothing stores in Edison, NJ to shop at include Daminis NJ & Manyavar
The event will take place outside if weather permits. Recommend bringing some light outerwear if needed.
6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Come enjoy drinks/food before the reception
7:30 pm - 11:00 pm
Semi-Formal Attire. Most men wearing Indian attire during the wedding change into suits/tie for the cocktail hour and reception
Dinner, dancing, drinks. Our favorite part of the night.
10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Casual Attire: Anything but your pajamas
