Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 pm, however, you may arrive as early as 4:15 so that you can pick a seat and get settled before the proceedings.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We want our guests to dress comfortably and appropriately for the weather, as it may be cold outside. However, we request that guests dress in "Dressy casual" aka. Sunday best! Please feel free to use this link for examples: https://www.theknot.com/content/what-to-wear-dressy-casual

Question

What's the best way to RSVP?

Answer

We will have a snail mail option and a QR code option available. The QR code option would be the most efficient method, but we understand everyone may not have the ability to scan these. Regardless, we please ask that you only RSVP for the people to whom your invite has been addressed to. If you have any questions about this, please let us know.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We know your kids are amazing and we love them too. However, we want you to have the night off to celebrate with us! Consider this event as a date night or parents night out. Due to space restrictions we have chosen to only have children that are family members at our wedding and we hope you understand.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

We will have a really amazing photographer for the duration of the wedding to capture our event and we want you all to be present int he moment with us. That being said, we ask that all phones stay put away and silenced for the duration of the ceremony.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

While we cannot predict the weather, temperatures in the Montgomery County/Grimes County area during February are typically in the low 50s to high 60s.

Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place inside the chapel. We expect it to be relatively cool outside for our February wedding. Cocktail hour and the reception will also take place inside- there is a patio with heaters if you choose to be outside.

Question

What time will the bar open?

Answer

The bar will open promptly at 5:00 pm and will close at 10:00 pm. Please also be mindful that per our contract with the venue NO ONE under the age of 21 will be allowed to consume alcohol on the premises- this includes the parking lot.

Question

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We plan on having a grazing table with meats, cheeses, fruit and crackers. The bar will also be open at this time and will have beer and wine. Tea, water, and coffee will also be available. The reception will have a pizza and salad buffet.

Question

What's your wedding hashtag?

Answer
